Compassion Church cares about your privacy. We collect only what we need to serve you, we never sell your information, and we use trusted providers to keep your data secure. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Information you give us — your name, email, phone, address, and anything you enter in our forms (Plan a Visit, prayer requests, group sign-ups, Dream Team interest, and similar).
• Giving information — when you give online, your payment is processed securely by Subsplash. Compassion Church never sees or stores your full card or bank details.
• Usage information — basic, anonymous analytics like pages visited and device type, to help us improve the site.

How we use it

• To follow up with you, answer questions, and help you take a next step.
• To process gifts and send year-end giving statements.
• To register you for events, groups, and serving opportunities.
• To care for you in prayer and pastoral support.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with the trusted providers that help us run the church, including Subsplash (giving, app, and messages) and Planning Center / Church Center (forms, events, and member care). These partners are bound by their own privacy and security commitments. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Cookies

Our site uses minimal cookies and local storage to remember preferences (such as your reading position or display settings) and to gather anonymous analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some features may not work as well.

Your choices

You can ask us to view, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from emails at any time. Email hello@compassion.sc and we will take care of it.

Children

Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information online. For Compassion Kids registrations, information is provided by a parent or guardian.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the date at the top of this page.
