Do I need to be a member to serve?+
Nope. If Compassion is your church, there's a spot for you. A few teams that work with kids and students include a quick background check — we'll walk you through it.
How much time does it actually take?+
Most teams serve one or two Sundays a month, and we schedule around your life — not the other way around. You'll never be guilted onto a calendar.
What if I don't know where I fit?+
That's the most common question — and the easiest to solve. Tell us a little about you and we'll point you toward a team you'd actually love, or just come try one on a shadow Sunday with zero commitment.
Can students serve?+
Yes — middle and high schoolers serve alongside adults on several teams. It's one of our favorite things to watch.
What if I try a team and it's not for me?+
Switch. Zero hard feelings. Trying a team once is the whole point of the shadow Sunday — finding your fit matters more than filling a slot.
