Hope Center Florence is our women's recovery home — a Christ-centered residential program for women ready to walk out of addiction and into a new life. Compassion is its sponsoring church, and we get to walk alongside every step.
The church behind the home.
Every Hope Center home is backed by a local sponsoring church — and in Florence, that's us. The women in the program are part of our family: they worship with us on Sundays, they're cared for by our pastors, and they're surrounded by people praying them all the way home.
It's compassion in its most literal form — being confronted with someone's suffering and being moved to do something about it. Hope Center is one of the clearest places we get to live out our name.
Recovery is a by-product of a relationship with Christ.
One year. Three phases.
A 12-month residential program built on biblical principles and a spiritual 12-step process — designed to move each woman from the bondage of addiction into purpose, independence, and a real relationship with Jesus.
Foundation
The deep work begins: the Twelve Steps, Celebrate Recovery, individual and group counseling, Bible study, devotions, and the daily rhythm of a structured, supportive home — with the sponsoring church alongside from day one.
Growth
Everything from Phase 1 continues, now with 40 hours a week of vocational training — real-world responsibility in a supportive environment that builds life skills, references, and a future beyond the program.
Launch
Preparing for life after graduation: financial stewardship, earning income, and restored privileges — easing each woman toward the independent, faith-rooted life she's been building all year.

What it includes.
Recovery involves the whole family.
Addiction never hurts just one person — so healing can't either. Hope Center walks with families too: visitation from day one, off-campus passes as residents progress, and a path toward restored relationships and open communication by the final phase.
Families are also welcomed into the life of the sponsoring church, growing in their own faith while they watch their loved one do the same.
